18. ročník OTAVA CUP - 25.5. - 27.5. 2012

V roce 2012 slavíme 100 let kopané v Sušici

18. ročník turnaje se uskuteční ve dnech 25.5. - 27.5. 2012 v Sušici a jejím blízkém okolí. OTAVA CUP pořádají: Euro - sportring, TJ Sušice, TJ Sušice oddíl kopané, OFS Klatovy, Městský úřad Sušice. Spolupořadatelé: CA EL-WEST,  ČMFS, TJ Svatobor Hrádek, TJ Tatran Dlouhá Ves, TJ Kašperské Hory, TJ Žichovice, TJ Žihobce, TJ Sokol Kolinec, TJ Hartmanice.

Pro již osmnáctý ročník OTAVA CUPU pořadatelé počítají s účastí 55-ti fotbalových mužstev z několika zemí Evropy. Do Sušice jsou pozvány mužstva z Maďarska, Německa, Nizozemí, Polska, Slovenska, Belgie, Rakouska, Dánska, Švýcarska a z České republiky. Více než 800 fotbalistů mezi deseti a devatenácti roky se utká ve čtyřech kategoriích (mladší žáci, starší žáci, mladší dorost, starší dorost). V rámci Otava Cupu se také odehraje 51. ročník memoriálu Antonína Blažko v kategorii starších žáků. Více než 110 utkání se odehraje na travnatých hřištích TJ Sušice a okolních fotbalových oddílů. Pro turnaj zůstává centrem město Sušice.

Sušici a okolí navštívilo již  753 týmů z patnácti zemí a tří kontinentů. Do Sušice zavítali žáci a dorostenci z Austrálie, Belgie, Dánska, Itálie, Izraele, Maďarska, Německa, Nizozemska, Rakouska, Slovenska, Švédska, USA, Polska, Švýcarska a České republiky.

18. ročník podporují:

Jan Stejskal - člen trenérského týmu národního mužstva ČR a AC Sparta Praha, bývalý brankář národního týmu, Queens Park Rangers,  Sparty Praha , Slavie Praha

Jan Veverka - bývalý rozhodčí FIFA

Tomáš Pekhart - útočník fotbalového týmu anglické Premier Leaque - Tottenham  Hotspur, FK Blaumit Jablonec, nyní 1.FC Nürnberg a reprezentent ČR do 21 let, vícemistr světa "U 17" a "U 20" (sušický rodák a odchovanec TJ Sušice)

The 18th OTAVA CUP, 25th May - 27th May 2012

International youth football tournament in Šumava

The 18th year of the tournament takes place from 25 May to 27 May 2012 in the town of Sušice and its near surroundings. The OTAVA CUP is organised by Euro-sporting, TJ Sušice – football club, OFS Klatovy, Municipal Office Sušice. The co-organisers are CA EL-WEST, CMFS, TJ Svatobor Hrádek, TJ Tatran Dlouhá Ves, TJ Kašperské Hory, TJ Žihobce, TJ Sokol Kolinec, TJ Hartmanice.  

The organisers expect 55 football teams from different European countries to take part in the 18th year of the OTAVA CUP. Teams from Hungary, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. More than 800 football players between 11 and 19 years of age will compete in four categories U19, U17, U15, U13. Within the frameworks of the OTAVA CUP, also the 51th year of Antonín Blažko Memorial will take place in U15 category. More than 110 matches will be played in the football pitches of TJ Sušice and nearby football clubs. Nevertheless, Sušice remains the centre of the tournament.

Sušice and its surroundings have been visited by 753 teams from 15 countries and 3 continents. Young players from Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Israel, Hungary, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Slovakia, Sweden, the USA, Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

During its existence the Otava Cup has become a popular and looked up sports and social event in Sušice. As every year the Town Council at the head with the Mayor help with the organization. The popularity of the OTAVA CUP also confirm the personalities taking protection over this year
